The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

W.J. Lee, rider of Diarist (USA) trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount missed the break.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Dark Alliance, ridden by R.A. Smithers, placed first and Stamp Of Authority, ridden by A.J. Breslin, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that R.A. Smithers was in breach of Rule 214, in that he rode carelessly and having considered his record, severely cautioned him concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.

C.J. McGovern, rider of Zylan trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left in running.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Alfredo Arcano trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost two shoes in running.

The Stewards informed Mark Fahey, trainer, that Boxer Dunford would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr.W. Fleming, that D.E. Sheehy, rider of Dea Dia, placed fifth, failed to weigh in. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned in the presence of Mr. Adrian Paul Keatley, trainer of Dea Dia. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Rule 227 and having considered his clean record, suspended him for two race days and ordered that he forfeit his riding fee. Furthermore the horse was disqualified in accordance with Rule 230.

William J. Fitzpatrick, trainer of Crossingoz, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge may be comming into season
